Safety is paramount - the pole must be secure in position in order for you to accomplish all of the possible pole dance moves.Traditionally that meant it needed to be screwed into a permanent position, that is no longer the case. It is now possible to get a portable pole that can be held in place just by using the tension between floor and ceiling. The tow aspects of Xpole design that have allowed them to perfect this method of fixing are the articulated base which can cope with uneven floor surfaces and the ceiling dome which is narrow enough to be supported under a single joist.
The pole can be adjusted and from floor level so there is no ladder required for installation.
All of our modes can cope with ceilings up to 2.7m high without any additional extension tubes (standard domestic ceiling height is 2.4m)
We do stock Xpole extensions that will allow you to fix the pole with ceilings up to a height of 3.3m which will accomodate most clubs and stages.
The choices remaining to you are Sport or Xpert. The main difference between these two models is that the Xpole Xpert has both static and spinning modes. If you are unsure of your needs we would suggest the Xpert because it can be locked into a static mode but the option remains to use it as a spinning dance pole - which will help future-proof you against later needs.
