Which Surface Finish – Chrome or Gold?
All
X-Poles are available in either
chromium or
titanium gold. The titanium gold is a brass coloured, electroplated surface finish which gives additional grip for dancers. The gold models are slightly more expensive due to the extra finishing and materials required in their manufacture. Whichever surface finish you choose always use a grip chalk or lotion specifically designed for dance poles we sell

Which diameter of pole - 45mm or 50mm?
The international standard for competitions for poles is 50mm diameter so it used by most dance schools. The general rule is that 50mm poles are harder to get used to for beginners – but easier to use as you gain experience. It is largely a matter personal preference, for example dancers with small hands might find one-hand spins easier on 45mm pole.
