The 45mm diameter is easier to grip and suits those with slightly smaller hands – although a 50mm pole is considered easier to grip with your legs.
The X Pole Sport (XS) is a rigid, static dancing pole. If you are considering a spinning pole take a look at the X Pole Xpert which has both static and spinning modes.
The titanium gold coating gives a distinctive gold colour to the dancing pole and provides a slightly grippier surface which is an advantage to beginner dancers but the difference in grip between the Titanium Gold and Chrome finishes is not really noticeable when you are wearing pole dancing gloves.
